Give the listing the same attention as the app

A finished app can still have an incomplete store presentation. Screenshots may miss the main workflow, descriptions may explain features without their use, and translated assets may not fit the market or interface.

The launch scope starts with the app’s actual experience. Store claims and visuals should reflect functionality available in the release, including any conditions that affect access or use.

Prepare the store materials

  • Store visuals

Plan screenshots, icons, and agreed promotional graphics around the core experience. Show the product interface with readable text and an order that helps viewers understand the workflow.

  • ASO and store copy

Develop keyword recommendations and listing text for the selected store. Describe what the app does, who it serves, and the features that support the main use case.

  • Promotional materials

Create the visuals or short videos included in the engagement. Keep demonstrations consistent with the release; distinguish explanatory concepts from live functionality.

  • Localization

Adapt the agreed text and assets for specified languages and markets. Review terminology, screenshots, interface language, and text fit together.

What you receive

  • Listing copy and keyword recommendations for the selected marketplace.

  • An agreed set of screenshots, graphics, and promotional materials.

  • Localized versions for the languages included in scope.

  • A record of approvals, remaining inputs, and listing issues to resolve.

Editable files, export formats, store variants, and revision rounds belong in the scope. Submission through a developer account is a separate responsibility to assign.

From product review to approved assets

  1. Review the app and markets

Walk through the release, intended audience, existing listing, and available materials.

  2. Define the asset set

Agree the marketplace, languages, visual formats, copy fields, and reviewers.

  3. Create and adapt

Develop the listing and assets, then review them against the actual app and selected store requirements.

  4. Prepare the handover

Deliver the agreed files and note any release or account information still needed for publication.

Illustrative launch scenario

A scheduling app is preparing to enter a second market. The listing needs screenshots of the local interface, an explanation of the booking flow, and copy that matches the features available in that release. The review checks those materials together before handover.

Questions before starting

Is this Apple App Store, Google Play, or both?

The engagement specifies the marketplace. Copy fields, visual formats, and publishing requirements differ, so each store needs its own asset scope.

Does preparation guarantee approval or more downloads?

No. The marketplace reviews the submission, and downloads also depend on demand, distribution, competition, and product fit. The work prepares the agreed listing and assets.

Do you submit the app or handle review feedback?

Developer account access, submission, and resubmission must be included explicitly. Store presentation work alone does not include all release operations.

Prepare your store launch

Share the app, target marketplace, release date, and languages you need to support.
