Product demos for sales and investor meetings

Show the product through the decisions your audience needs to make. ACW prepares demo scenarios and selected decks, one-pagers, videos, or prototypes for a defined sales or investor conversation.

Answer the questions behind the meeting

A feature tour can leave buyers unsure how the product fits their work. An investor presentation can show polished screens without explaining the product, market, or evidence. The narrative should connect the audience’s questions with what can actually be demonstrated.

Agree the meeting objective and format first. A working product walkthrough, clickable prototype, recorded video, and pitch deck serve different purposes and require different production work.

Build the materials around the audience

  • Sales narrative

Explain the buyer’s problem, the relevant workflow, and the product capabilities that address it. Include the conditions and limitations that affect adoption.

  • Pitch materials

Develop the agreed deck, one-pager, or supporting visuals. Use verified product and business information; keep projections separate from achieved results.

  • Demo scenarios

Choose the sequence, screens, inputs, and talking points for the meeting. Show the path from a user’s task to the output they need to evaluate.

  • Prototype and video support

Create the agreed clickable or recorded demonstration. Label simulated behavior so a presentation cannot be mistaken for production functionality.

What you receive

Depending on the engagement, the handover can include an audience-specific narrative, demo script, selected presentation assets, a prototype or video, and fallback materials for live meetings.

Review the package against the intended audience, factual accuracy, consistency with the product, and the format of the conversation. Funding, procurement, or sales outcomes remain decisions made by the audience.

From product walkthrough to a rehearsed presentation

  1. Review the product

Examine the use case, available functionality, evidence, and gaps that need explanation.

  2. Plan the story

Select the audience questions and the product sequence that answers them.

  3. Create the assets

Produce the agreed materials and review claims with the people responsible for the product and business data.

  4. Rehearse the flow

Check timing, transitions, access, and fallback materials for the intended meeting setup.

Illustrative demo scenario

A procurement team is evaluating a workflow product. The demo follows a request through review, approval, and reporting, showing the permissions and handoffs that matter to the buyer. Any function shown through a prototype is identified as a concept.

Questions before starting

Can we make a demo before the product is built?

Yes, the scope can use a clickable prototype or recorded concept. It must be identified as a demonstration of the proposed experience rather than proof of a working system.

Are sales and investor packages interchangeable?

No. Buyers evaluate fit, implementation, and use. Investors evaluate a different set of product and business questions. The narrative and supporting evidence should match the meeting.

Do you create financial projections or guarantee investment?

Financial modelling requires a separate scope and reliable inputs. A presentation package does not validate forecasts or guarantee a purchasing or investment decision.
