A flexible account model for film-industry workflows
ACW is developing FrameHouse’s product foundations, connecting the roles of professionals, companies and productions within a staged platform roadmap.
Film-industry work is organised around people, companies and productions. One person can be involved in more than one organisation or project, so a single account needs to support different working contexts without treating each affiliation as a separate identity.

Each relationship carries its own responsibilities and permissions.
ACW’s work on FrameHouse included product strategy, positioning and go-to-market planning alongside the account-model foundation. SEO and analytics formed part of the wider SaaS work. This connected the platform’s product direction with the foundations for explaining, launching and improving the service. The result: product, market and measurement considerations within the same delivery engagement.
People in the film industry may participate in several companies and productions. The FrameHouse account model keeps those relationships distinct, allowing the product to represent the person and their working contexts without reducing them to a single fixed role. A staged roadmap separates this account foundation from later platform and commercial modules. The result: an account model that reflects the platform’s multi-context relationships.
Identify the person’s account.
Associate the relevant company or production context.
Apply the role within that context.
ACW implemented the account and role foundations that later workflows depend on. Keeping identity, affiliation and permissions connected gives the product a consistent base for future modules, while the delivered scope remains focused on this account-model increment. The result: the account-model increment is delivered as a foundation for further product work.
Implement the account and affiliation relationships.
Connect the relevant role and access rules.
Carry that context through the supported account flows.
Security audits and penetration testing formed part of ACW’s work on FrameHouse. Security and privacy considerations accompanied the product work, including the platform’s account and access context.
Security audits: Security assessment within the platform engagement.
Penetration testing: Testing included in the security work.
Security assessment included alongside product delivery.
Switching from a personal profile to acting for a company took 20 seconds instead of 95.
The same task was tested with 15 participants.
Successful completion of the person, company and production journey increased from 10 of 15 participants to 14 of 15.
